I like the way everyone's like "Oh no, Disney's going to milk the franchise for money!" Because, you know, George Lucas totally never did that. I have seen The Emperor pelvic thrusting in a dancing game for god's sake.

And like others have pointed out, Disney regularly churns out good stuff. Great stuff. With the large amount of background and lore that they have to available to them for this, I'm allowing myself to hope for something pretty decent.

And yes, if Battlefront 3 gets released as a side-effect of this, I'm not going to complain.

He's like the night, and the storm in the heart of the sun.
He's ancient and forever.
He burns at the centre of time and he can see the turn of the universe.
And... he's wonderful."

If they go with Gearbox they're bound to get Battlelandborderfuckthisgamesucks.

Unfortunately Pandemic (who produced Battlefronts I and II) has been shut down, but I know LucasArts can find somebody better to work with.

I was always under the impression Pandemic Studios just merged into LucasArts, and so now that they, in turn, merged into Disney, the end result should be that LucasArts will consist of a huge clusterfuck of developers.

An ideal publisher choice, now that's a different story. Maybe Infinity Ward? "Call of (insert profanity here)"?

But what if Disney releases the original, unedited trilogy?

Yes, let it be an episode, because then Battlefront III would NEVER EVER come out.

Unless HL3 managed to come out.
