I'm fairly certain most internet-savvy people have adblock as a standard.

I don't, as I respect the adverts I see, since they earn people money.

Re: I love adSense
I don't use adblock since I think pages look weird without the ads
Also, I dislike the idea that I can't see everything that's on the page.

Re: I love adSense
Ads never bother me, except for those one minute long unskippable ones on some Youtube videos.

Re: I love adSense
All I see on the front page is a broken layout for IE, and me, the lone IE user with a grumpy face. :-p
But yeah, ads... I hate most ads, but I don't use an ad blocker. The main problem is I don't care about how good Febreze is, or how awexome for gas mileage a new car for Company X is. If I want something to make my house SMELL cleaner, I'll just buy some generic brand. If I want a car, I'll just buy a used one. I don't need expensive brand name products.

I reacted the same way as Bum, turned adblock off, went to the main page, and still didn't see any ads.697134002 wrote:I never saw any, even when I turned adblock off.The Bum wrote:.....We have ads?

Sometimes they're just text/link ads as opposed to colourful images, so you may be overlooking them.
They're right there, underneath the sidebar.

I think it's because most people tend not to scroll down that far. I usually don't.DuplicateValue wrote:Sometimes they're just text/link ads as opposed to colourful images, so you may be overlooking them.
