Random Facts

Post by vallorn » 25 Mar 2011, 16:58

basicly just post any interesting random facts in here.

mine is
"discounting the height limit, to create a perfect semisphere over the map we would need 77175000 blocks.
thats 1205859 STACKS of blocks..."

BTW this is based on a hemisphere's surface area being 2Pi(Radius*Radius) where Radius=3500.

Canadians consume more Kraft Dinner (aka Kraft Macaroni & Cheese) per capita than any other nationality on earth.

Canada has more donut shops per capita than the United States does.

The human eye blinks an average of 4,200,000 times a year.
That fact is too boring.

In direct proportion to it's body, the barnacle has the longest penis of any animal, and, if a human were to have the equivalent, it would be 10 feet long.

Blame QI, and it's books for this slightly disturbing fact. :D

The elephant sometimes uses it's penis (yes I said it, penis) to prop itself so that it can keep itself into balance, similar to how you prop a bike to keep it standing. It's sorta like a FIFTH leg, ugh...
