It's a -really- bad system. It's up there with Gamespy in the category of "things that need to be locked away forever".

I haven't messed with it really since playing COD 4 (MW 1) and BF2 on pc, but it works very well to stop cheaters. I've never had an issue with it except in some league play.

¬_¬ I had the EA Download Manager, which by the way was awful and I stopped using it. I got an email from them telling me it was now Origin and I now had Origin. I don't care much about the whole "we will monitor your system" thing, but I didn't even agree to it.

that's normal, all gaming companies do that with hosted services, would be different if we were allowed to host our own services
