I just checked my PC specs, and everything is over double what is required. My graphics card has more than enough memory, but I think I can't get BF3 because it's not a nVidia or ATI card. Which really sucks, since I don't have money to just run out and buy a new graphics card.

There's more to a video card than just the amount of memory it has.

Select BF3 from the drop down list.

If you have an integrated Intel video card, then you may (probably) need to spring for a new card.

Yeah, that's what I have. Well, no Battlefield for me then.

Don't fret.

ATI/AMD cards run pretty cheap depending on your budget.

Lol, all I have is $120 dollars. And that's going towards Skyrim and MW3.

Well, that money could still purchase a decent mid-range card.

And I hope you plan on getting those games for a console, because you'll likely run into similar issues on your PC.

Yeah, Skyrim and MW3 on console for me. I just like the control schemes better with consoles on those games. :/

I was looking around at graphics cards and I have absolutely o clue what all of it means. Guess that's waht happens when you focus on learning software and not hardware.

Anyways, just started the beta download on my PS3. I have a feeling it's going to boil down to useless teammates and everyone going sniper recon like on BC2.

Btw, thanks for helping out Sneaky. :D

Really? I'm below the minimum required for EVERYTHING I've played on this compy because of my graphics card...

Rome Total War, Age of Empires...

Yeah... I have my little PoS integrated card, yet I can run TF2, DoW2, Spore, and Battlefield PFF all on max settings with no framerate issues. Wierd.

Hmm, last year my internet connection speeds took me over 6 hours to download the Halo Reach Beta. Practically all night.

Now it takes 24 seconds/per percent to download. AWWWW YEEEAAAH!

My beta isn't working

"We are unable to contact EA servers to activate Battlefield 3 open beta on this computer. Please try again later"

EDIT: Fixed, seems I need to have wired internet.
