I feel the same way random, now I went back to minecraft all of a sudden. You can only play so much until you have the best things. What they need to add is like more bosses, or ALOT of dungeons which at the end of the dungeon, you fight a boss aswell. Then it would be more interesting.

yeah, these games need a bigger cause or goal that really hard to achieve but is rewarding at the end. If there were more bosses and maybe a few particular things you have to build along the way then that would be more interesting. This applies to minecraft aswell. As Yahtzee said, it not a game strictly speaking, just a sandbox with monsters.
Hopefully escapecraft4 will be interesting enough that i might come back.

I got it - I'm kinda meh about it. Seems like iron ore is next to impossible to find...

Stone - check
Silver - check
Cobwebs - check
Iron - M.I.A

On my third world and haven't seen any - and I've gone pretty deep into caverns.

Keep heading down until the background changes to a darker grey, in my experience ores (all kinds) are pretty common at that level.

As one of the few people here I know of who actually has it, I must ask the following: WHAT IN THE HIGH HOLY HELL DID THEY DO TO MY COBALT ARMOR?

Oh, I know that they changed it. I want to know why I went from jetting around with my rocket boots while looking like Sauron to looking like... well, like I'm wearing Zinrius' furniture.

*ahem* Don't you go and get my furniture involved in your sick fantasies now.

I have fantasies, but I can assure you that no one's furniture is involved in any of it. I shall let you compare the two types of armor to see which one looks badass, and which one looks like you're wearing the front lawn.

Yeah, that's what I thought.

I think it's quite an improvement <3

No worries, at the bottom it says Cobalt will return as another set.

I just got Terraria a few days ago for my birthday. First thing I did: Look for multiplayer server IPs. I went on a server and some guy gave me a ton of platinum coins, Molten tools, and Life Crystals... Today I just defeated the Eye of Cthulu (I think that's how you spell it).

That's as fun as it'll get. In fact that guy just ruined the entire game for you by giving you the best tools so early.

This, This is true. Throw out (or store) the stuff you have received or prepare to get bored fast.
I was given a Sunfury from our multiserver and from then i was able to beat the game without any challenge.

Making the jump from gold to shadow equipment is the hardest IMO. Once you have that getting meteorite, necro, and eventually molten gear is relatively straightforward.
Keep digging for chest items, carry plenty of health potions, and maybe invite a friend to help out with the bosses.

I haven't played Terraria since the recent few updates. I'm pretty sure for me the game blew because the mechanics of it where highly unbalanced offering little to no challange to aquire things.

I played about a week ago just to see whatever was new. It didn't amuse me, but the hell world is a lot more harder than before, due to the fact of lava slimes and such..Anyways, i'm not coming back to it anytime soon....or ever ;)

I went on it a couple of hours ago, It's harder than it used to be now so I doubt you'll get bored of it anytime soon if you like survival mining games.
