New Lands (Ooh, an RPG) Make some characters!
Re: New Lands (Ooh, an RPG) Make some characters!
Okay, decisions are now up and the character creation rules are now going to change. Oh, and five days have passed, so Gunter is in a fit state to travel and will go to the pilgrims' settlement. (Mostly in case Uthag wants to travel alongside Gunter)

I become a member of Castle Petricus. Again. For now, I will adopt my former position as a guard and try to protect and advise Entreri.

Myles & Hanako will help rebuild the colony

Patrick will head back to the colony to rebuild, aiten will live in the village and imena will live in the castle.
After going back to the village aiten will do some archery training, setting up dummies and targets, focusing on accuracy.
Imena will carry on her usual traning, focusing on endurance/stamina.

Update #19 8 days until ship arrives.
Several pilgrims, including but not limited to Frederick, Gunter, Uthag, Patrick, Myles and even the strange Hanako Arouet, went to the pilgrims' settlement to find it devoid of life, but in perfect condition. Cautiously, they walked up to the main gate. There was a note. It read:
Uthag and Gunter went up to the gate and simply lifted it up, allowing the rest of the pilgrims to go under and open it from the inside. And what was inside was frightening. In front of the village centre was a splayed-out body - the body of Harvey Smith. Attached to his head by an arrow was another note.
The pilgrims rushed to read the note.
Myles inspected the old man's wounds. He noticed a complete lack of blood where the arrow was embedded in him, but massive bloodstains in his chest.
A few minutes later, the pilgrims set out to see if there were any more surprises waiting for them.
At Frederick Joseph's Body:
Further down the tunnel Frederick Joseph died near:
In the native village, Aiten returned alongside governor LaValle, and the villagers repaired the village. Afterwards, Aiten practiced archery in his spare time.
LaValle received troublesome news shortly after the village was repaired. Barbarians were massing in great numbers.
In Castle Petricus, Entreri personally visited the burial sites of those who died in the barracks before going door to door and asking for loyalty from the townsfolk during the tough times. Eldric donned some more appropriate attire as he was made personal guard and advisor to Entreri. (Seriously, covering everything but his chin won't work for castle politics)
Imena Shadowraith moved to Castle Petricus and began running around the city streets every morning to build up her stamina.
Decisions for Pilgrims
1: Search for more clues about the strange messages
2: Build
3: Gather food to replenish the expired stores
4: Other
Decisions for Villager
1: Try and sneak into the barbarian encampments off in the desert, beyond any known maps.
2: Other
3: Hipster Other
Decisions for Cityfolk
1: Get a job (Imena only)
2: Prepare for likely attacks from the other two castles
3: Look in your wardrobe and then prepare for likely attacks from the other two castles

Oh, fine, I shall describe his clothing and face.
He wears the royal colors and designs of Petricus on a long robe. He keeps the armguards and weaponry.
His face is a dark-ish tan. His eyes are a dark green, not unlike a forest. His hair is ear-length and a deep brown hue.
blah blah prepare for attack blah
-does the same thing he did for the past attacks-
IE: Fill the vial, get arrows and venom. Since I am in a castle, I carry more than a dozen arrows and have the liberty of dipping all of my arrows in poison. I also place cutlasses by the throne.

Yeah, I need more characters. I don't want this to become a social experiment with two people and a bunch of NPCs.
