The Corinthian Casino

The Corinthian Casino is now open for business. We have 3 different games and a high-class restaurant. As of now we are accepting wool, iron, gold, and diamond. But we are also trying to obtain the materials to cover more.

Here's some maps

Also 697, I saw what you were talking about. I don't think that is the Saphiri Embassy. If it is, there are now two in corinth. If we could get someone from saphiri to show us which one is the real embassy that would be good. In my opinion, I believe the one made from smoothstone that has a a green and white symbol on the front is the real one. The fake one seems to be the one made from wool and bookcases that has a sign-"Saphiri Embassy trevmonkeys tesseract"
We had an embassy contest a while back. Trevmonkey's tesseract won by a large margin. So thats the correct one.

I believe Crashendo built the other one. As he seemed to dislike the fact that an empty foundation was all the embassy was for a time. I told him that we would get ours up soon. So that's it really.
We know that Trevmonkeys is the legitimate one. The problem is that is EXTREMELY close to the muesem and blocks half the building.
was extremely close to the museum*.
I talked to him yesterday, I guess I should have mentioned something.

Just to let you all know, I won't be back on until Saturday because I'm going to visit colleges. I will still have access to the forums, however, and will try to stay up to date. Wish you all the best of luck on your current projects.

I think I've come up with a good idea for your new castle, Jag, but it will be huge and take a lot of work/mats. I drew it on a small piece of paper I had, just to visualize it, so, here it is in all it's horrible quality:

http://i51.tinypic.com/2uf68fl.jpg

It would consist of 3 towers linked together by walkways, the main tower, a medium tower, and a smaller tower. It would extend past cloud level, starting at height 65. Each tower would have 8 floors of 4 height, with a 2 thick floor to allow for carpets and such on different floors. The tops would (if possible) be different colors, using Wool... or maybe a striped fashion.

And here is how it would fit on the island;

Ok so just a quick history of our Great city! When Corinth was first made it was Grims. i gave him a few tips on how to make a town of his land. then he wanted to join solake (which wasnt a shit hole at the time) Corinth grew with great help from myself, mymanjake, grim, givemeabreak, and more people. then Corinth grew large and Solake grew shitty and Corinth left Solake which was a great choice. but wait where did jag come from? so a little before Corinth left Solake i met jag. he wanted to make his little base (far north i think it was) a Solake outpost. he then made a house in Solake. he then migrated to Corinth were something happened, grim left as did givemeabreak and then some how jag became ruler. he made the empire thrive and it still does! hope this made since im not the best writer. but this is the true history of Corinth.

Hey, Corinth was an actual place in Greek/Roman History. My friend has Latin, and I glanced at his notes and saw that it was mentioning about Corinth!

I did have plans for that island but the plans have changed just a bit. It will house my new castle.

However I may postpone that project to work on what I showed you today. Currently I am torn between projects within Corinth, and a new project semi Corinth related. If you wish to know my newest project and want in on it, seek me out (recommended for Vips as this project is a bit far). I found probably the most epic natural minecraft mountain ever. I plan on turning it into a settlement. Unfortunately, this has torn me from my duties in Corinth. However, since i am a genius and created a sustainable leadership even when I am not around, I really have nothing to worry about. If for some reason someone needs me and i am working on my new project, Simply refer to the chain of command in first post. I will be switching back and forth. too tired and buzzed to be posting sh** but im doing it anyway  :( :?: :o  :( :!: :ugeek: :ugeek:  8-) :D    :!:

Tunnels and pathways through the mountain, but most important, torches throughout the area.

I have decided to change my plans for the island I purchased from Niet. I plan on turning it into a Council Chamber. This also means that I will be introducing a new branch of leadership to Corinth. Each town within Corinth may choose a councilor to represent their town. Since I cannot be everywhere at once, I'm not always aware of the hard work people put into their own towns. The current leadership system will still be in place, this is simply adding another branch. While the current leaders guide their towns and the empire in the direction they wish, the council will guide the Empire and towns in a way the people living within them wish. Let me know what you guys think. I want this project to be led by all of you.

On a side note, I have allowed supagama to use the OSI facilities to conduct some experiments for the good of the server.

On another note, I am also constructing a Corinthian military headquarters on the same island as the council chambers, with offices for all Corinthian officials!
