Economy

It's old but gold. If it could help you out we've probably chucked it in here.

Economy

Post by rbk95 » 24 Sep 2011, 03:07

Hey guys, it might just be me but lately ive noticed less trading going on and more....hoarding i guess. I dont know if it would be possible to plumpen the economy because to me it seems near death. I know that the whole money system didnt work out before but maybe we could have a trial period or something like that just to see if that would work again. I loved the Brofists back in ver2, well im in love with everything about ver2 but thats not the point. Anyway i would like everyone to leave comments about wether they would like to try money again or try something new. Of course a new money system or anything along those lines would up to the mod's so mods why dont you leave some comments too.
thx,

Well, since 1.8 pre-release, we haven't had as many players online. Now that we've upgraded, we should have more people.

It will be interesting to see if a new influx of people changes the trading rates, etc.

As far as more plugins, right now we need to focus on getting our existing plugins working properly. And with 1.9 coming out soon....

I've been on slightly more, which just means I've been working on my own project. And nobody is ever selling anything when I'm on, at least anything I can afford/use. I'll see in a bit though

I need wool, lots of wool. Personally I like 'exploring' to find the sheep. But that's become neigh impossible recently. There aren't many spawned at all (it seems). Is anyone selling at reasonable rates? Color isn't so important. Each time I ask I get no response... I guess others have had the same issues.

in the case of wool i have a simple solution. stand under a Mob Tower with a high Spider output then craft 4 stacks of String together to make 1 stack of wool. you can then also sell the other stuff for new items. :)

I have lots of wool. Didn't realize you need any. And I have lots of string - from cobwebs in the mineshafts on the 1.8 map.
