Dnlvickers5 - Public Apology

It's old but gold. If it could help you out we've probably chucked it in here.

Dnlvickers5 - Public Apology

Post by Zinrius » 07 May 2011, 21:08

I would like to state a public apology to Dnlvickers in regards to my participation in the facepalm picture bash presented in the topic regarding Mob spawning. It was certainly uncalled for considering you only wanted a simple answer and although I *knew* exactly what you meant, I just went away and acted like a jerk posting a picture of my own instead of answering your simple question.

This goes for everyone out there who participated in it. We all owe a BIG apology to him... so if you're reading this, please post your apology here for him.

Personally I meant no harm by it, I just like putting smiles on peoples faces and so the peers got to me. If I made you feel bad about asking, I'm truly and deeply sorry Dnlvickers5, I meant no grief by it.
You cannot say it doesn't exist if you haven't seen it. ~Zinrius

If you felt insulted or humiliated over the way I acted, then I'm very sorry.

Yeah, it was a spur of the moment thing. Sorry if the whole face-palm picture spam was insulting to you. Perhaps this could be avoided in the future if the question were more specific, or if the community were more inclined to ask what in specific you meant.

I'm going to have to keep in mind the community's tendency to dog-pile once someone makes that first post the next time one of these rolls around.

il be sure to take a crowbar to the dogpile once it starts snowballing.

it was a poor choice of words for the question though...

I think you call it being trolled.

Last time it happened to me, when everyone went "LOLMAC" on my ass, I didn't complain or receive an apology...

So no, not really sorry here... It's the internet.

Yeah, it took all my self control not to post a facepalm pic when I saw this thread.

Internet or no, being civil and nice to each other goes a long ways.

I'm sick and tired of the trolling, and sometimes I think its just people trying to up their post count, or just being a dick.

We have always had a rule on here about being nice, but if I start catching people just trolling on here, I'm going to start issuing warnings and bannings.

We have a very nice community here, lets keep it that way.

As my momma always said, if you don't have something nice to say, don't say it at all.

I deleted 2 posts from this thread, consider that a minor warning...

A gentleman and a legal enforcer.

This is why you have my respect, and I wish more people would realize this.
Though I know nothing of the events that led to the offense in question, I would apologize on behalf of those who happen to share my particular form at this time (Homo Sapiens).
In a land of Mods, I am the voice that utters that which people fear.

Oh yes, I know this.
