May I have a size estimation?

x blocks by y blocks?

I ask because while this project does sound great, I don't want a mega project taking up too much space from other potential players. Fyra is half the size of the main world.

After all this has finish let's have a massive board with all who helped. Also sneaky it's spread out a bit the shire is next to distortionstu's House and helm's deep is quite a trek through the mountains but bot sure how big it'll be

I'm assuming players will be able to build on the land between these structures, and that it's not some sort of reserve?

Sneaky or black dont worry we wil not impeach on anyones land, and i anyone has the want to mine or build near the LOTR projects they can feel free but please respect the usual rules ect like no buildig within 20 blocks is it? and with mining, i dont mind as long as you dont tunnel through our projects.
Also the shre wall needs to look less imposing, try removing the battlements, hobbits afterall are not to concerned with defending thier town from non-existant threats.
ALSO Helms deep is coming along smashingly and any donations of coal, cobble or smooth stone are appriciated.

i asked iron fang yesterday if i could place some dirt piles up against the inside of the walls to cover it up nicely and make it look more natural, i have allready done this above my own hobbit hole and ive planted some trees on top of it, i we cover up the entire wall like that i think it would look really nice, you should take a look

:O Good work Deri! Why do you make so many awesome things when I'm gone? >_> I'll be back soon, unfortunately I still can't do multiplayer here.

I'll be willing to help with Middle Earth, but I've never watched any of the Lord of the Rings all the way through.

Is it me or has Middle Earth moved one cart-ride further South along with Ajax and everything else along that way?

Dunno about you guys but I picked that plot because it was convenient to get to, anyone have any idea why the shuffling?

Could be that another stop was put in before it - I did notice there's now three stops instead of two.

Another stop with a fully-built brick town? I've been around plenty the last few days there's no way it could've just sprung up in between the change.

Seems a little unfair is all.

I'm sure your stuff is in the same place it always was, there's just an extra stop before it now. It's really not that much of a inconvenience.

I highly doubt anyone shifted around an entire portion of the map.

Fuzz, it's a new stop. Ajax and the shire are at the second stop now. The first stop stops at my town of Beorn, which is also slightly LOTR themed (the hall mentioned above). The town has been there since we first got access to Fyra. It seemed only right to ask for a station for it.

Yeah no worries, with the differing travel times depending on lag I couldn't really tell whether it was taking longer to get to what is now the second stop.

Tad dah! Helms deep is officially finished and ready for people to enter! :D
I will probably see if we can have some fun with helms deep but for now it only real purpose is a shelter and a rather nice monument. If you want to see it its co ords are x=9900 z=-1010 (its pretty hard to miss)
So if you do go and see it, what do you think of it?

Thing about Moria is that in the movies and the book, we only know about the entrance, the little part when the ways split, the big halls, and where the bridge is. There is a big time leap between the entrance and the big halls, they had walked for hours before they got there, and the part we know of Moria is the abandon hell hole infected with orcs and the balrog that have had their fun around there. If we are are to recreate Moria, we should make the entrance, that part can be amazing with the hills around and the pound outside the door :F and the hall right inside, but after that, it's a void :/ so mabye build the halls and the big chasm with the bridge BEFORE it is broken by Gandalf (Damn you Gandalf)

But yeah, you see the point? :P Focus on the entrance part ^^

Edit. Yes, I love the Entrance part, It's so damn beautiful :F
