Fireside Chat, Greek Theater

It's old but gold. If it could help you out we've probably chucked it in here.

Fireside Chat, Greek Theater

Post by Laptop_mini » 15 Apr 2011, 15:31

I was thinking, would it be possible to do a Greek Theater, such as this one:

for the Fireside Chat? (It would be smaller of course, but the image gives you an idea of what I'm talking about)

Meaning, while everyone is listening on vent to the chat, we could all stand in the seats area while participating speakers are on the stage. Also, of course, there would be a fire in front of the stage in the flat area.

But because some people might be doing other activities while listening, this might just be useless, but I just thought it would be fun and had to the chatting..

Also, this might go in the main thread, but while I have your attention, if I may ask, could it be possible to have the fireside chat recorded and set as a downloadable podcast?

I rather like it. Not sure how many people would turn up, but still, it does look cool.

Probably because I stopped going there, as my CPU couldn't compete with Minecraft and all the tabs.

my first project on sp was a greek theater, it was my first building that required some effort, building this should not give you any troubles

it could post some pictures of my theater but then i need to be on my laptop so i could do so tonight.

Yea it's possible, I sort of worked on one in another server and stopped after a while just due to boredom, but I already have extensive experience with building seats in rows with Madison Square Garden - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpqs_CYEmh0
Plenty I learned from building that, mainly with how to properly place seats, but the core of it starts with MS paint's grid over a picture of a theatre.
Best pics I took before completing Madison Square Garden-
