Future Shift (online for good)

It's old but gold. If it could help you out we've probably chucked it in here.

Future Shift (online for good)

Visit us on the web! (under construction)
Server updates can (probably not) be found here. (not right now, I'm lazy. :P)

We're migrating to the main server!
(Awaiting plugin updates.)

FOR ANYONE EXPERIENCING LAG/CRASHES:
- Set your fog down to Normal.
- Install Optimine. http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic ... 5&t=132717
The save format change has helped with lag, but we're still having some issues.

Welcome to the world of the future. Don't look down.
You've come here through a rift in time. How this rift came about, or how you passed through it, is irrelevant.
It doesn't seem possible, but somehow, it's real.
This is the future Escapia, and it's unlike anything you could have imagined.

Screenshots of freshly generated, unmodified world.

The people of Escapia have seen their destiny, and now ask themselves:
How did this happen... and WHEN?

This is the Future Shift. A race against time... and across it.

This is an example of the new map generator in action.

So no, it's not just a single spot. The map generates fun features like huge floating islands, giant waterfalls, and lakes down to bedrock.

Yup, from his wiki page:
It has however revolutionized SI Units by providing a new unit, the BlackAdder (BA), a unit for equivalent force of several stacks of TNT.

generaly 1 BA = 1 times to much TNT.
2 BA= 2 times to much TNT
and on and so forth until you reach MegaBA's where its "X times too many decaying leaves"

just a note that i have founded the vilage (hopefully someday a city) of Skytopia. anyone may join freely though i prefer being asked so i can keep track of peoples numbers and upgrade our facilities accordingliy. we have a public stripmine, forge and a travelers hut for anyone who wishes to stop in and use.

coordinates are X:58, Z:123 yes were very close to Spawn so be crefull what you build as i expect Griefers to love the place... and watch for holes in the ground.

Current Projects:
Get a Bridge to Spawn Island

Finish Lighting Skytopia Island

create more public facilities for non citizens to use.

Server's down, at least for now. This 1.3 update business has got me all frustrated.

However, when we're back up we'll have a bit of a facelift and a bunch of new plugins/features/fixes. Our brief live time on Monday was a learning experience; when we return many of the issues we encountered will be fixed.

Also, teaser trailer coming very soon from me. Whoops, did I say that out loud? :D
