Tree Village

It's old but gold. If it could help you out we've probably chucked it in here.

Different places. He never even made the Great Tree. I think Fenreil made one incarnation.

Correct.

Fenreil's tree got burned down, rebuilt, then burnt down again.

Black constructed Tree Town and was pretty far away from the Great Tree.

Yes, I remember he built an extension from the road to mine which I had disapproved of.

I didn't.

When we got it back for a while while this server was down, I was completely lost without warps.

I knew a certain loop very well... from my place, to tree town, mountbatten's estate, to central, then through - well, I don't recall the name - and back to my place. I used to walk that every day looking for griefing.

Yup, that's what happened.

It was all pretty cool though. I started building the tree, then realized it would be a real pain to get it to look nice without being able to place leaf blocks, so I decided to leave it there as a way to pick out griefers. I mean, that's got to be the first thing you'd want to destroy upon entering the server. And well, that is what happened.

I didn't build the second one, though. A few others did.

You can add it as an attachment (the option is there when you make a post), or upload it to a image sharing site like PhotoBucket or Imgr, then use [ image] [/ image] tags.

I've got ~10 stacks of saplings i could give you. Ask ThunderMa14 for bonemeal, I've heard he's got 30 stacks of bones (90 stacks of bonemeal).

This sounds like a great project- as fellow naturey person, I'd love to help out with building/finding resources.
I have about 3 stacks of saplings, 2 leaf blocks from mucking around with cauldrons, and a number of logs scattered around.

I'm very adept at tree-farming, particularly the tree-punching, and would be happy to help out with the building aspect once you've found a space.
(looking at Wokka's map and identifying large open areas might help, http://wokka.org/mine/)

Since i enjoy a good project, I'd be happy to give you the materials and help source them without requiring a payment.

and as a Vault Dweller you have access to the Vault's supply of wood and saplings so long as you treat them responsibly.

you can aslo use the cauldrons in the grand forge for this Aqua.

Okay, the current site for this Village is where arcadia was planned to go for corinth.
Also aqua, if you could bring some leaf blocks as opposed to saplings, that would be great, because we don't have a cauldron out there yet.

Yes, I am changing the block size to 10*10*10 due to the fact that i forgot there was a height limit in minecraft

also, I am going to start building "down" to stay within said height requirements, which means that I will begin lowering the land around the tree as well. I am half way through changing the trunk to 10*10 which is why it looks weird. Go ahead and leave that alone, ill get to it. Most of all i just need to lower that land! :D

-Thanks!

Also, Black willingly obliged to some destruction efforts in our own back yard, and we will now have a mine for our selves. The entrance is.... Stunning, i encourage others to check it out! It is really gigantic. I have plans for 3 main branches of the mine and maybe some underground "Forest" farming.

(I always thought it would be cool to have a forest in a gigantic underground cavern!)

Aqua im sorry i didn't get to this earlier, but thank you so much for the leaf blocks you contributed, they will really help out!

Also, Wild made a cauldron out by the Trunk, so if you would like to continue making leaf blocks for the tree, feel free to make them out here!

-Again, Thanks!

And on that note, all previous blueprints are useless. The new design will be more tree like, and less minecraft tree like(not blocksie) ;)
