My house has a large burning Skull, so I suspect it talks profusely about me, and other subjects, while I'm away.
Probably complaining about the whiny mutts in its belly.

Mine says "Wow, this guy really was in a rush when he was making his house. Hence it being an underground house made from an abandoned crater and cobble/wood.

Mine says I'm paranoid.

It's a little (one room and a small tower) cobblestone castle, surrounded by a deep, flowing moat. It was the first shelter I made and I've spruced it up a little (blue wool carpets and a nice glass bit on the roof), but I haven't had the time to make anything grandiose. The moat is really the best bit; because it flows down (I made it by diverting a couple of pools, before I knew about buckets) any mob caught in it will be led into a load of burning netherrack. Goddamnit those creepers will pay!

Mine says I am a major Hermit style player... I have it underground under a lake of water with no real way for players to see it on a casual glance.
I also seem to like having fire places, books and nice comfy spots for the house.

Well, I don't really build houses. I have one in Briarton for storage purposes, but it follows my typical embassy design- a circular building with a glass dome on top and a rooftop garden, with a rather large basement. It's a bit too small for an embassy though, due to plot size.

However, I have built houses on other servers and in ssp. They are all VERY redstone heavy, and typically mostly concealed within a mountain or underground. Usually, I have a small glass dome or a small stone shack visible from the surface, with a huge hidden basement.

One interesting fact- I NEVER make wood buildings, or use a lot of wood in my buildings. I hate the stuff.

Well um.

I have a massive fortress which consists of roughly 3 housing areas, and about 2 mineshafts.

The houses are:

In the sky.

In the side of a mountain.

And below sea level.

With the main fortress-y part of it being on sea level.

One might say that I'm overcompensating for something, I say that I had an excess of materials and a burning desire to show undead creatures that my penis was bigger...

My house is small, with some decorative birch wood around the door and a big letter S on top, standing in front of the entrance to my mine. I'll probably expand it one day but at the moment I'm mining.

In the basements are a few paintings, and behind one of them is some sandstone. Removing the sandstone reveals stairs that lead down to a narrow corridor with an iron door at the end. Behind a dirt block in the hallway is a lever that opens the door, into the storage room.

Beneath the storage room is a tree farm and below that is my Portal to the Nether, which is much louder than I thought it would be.

Also connected to the underground painting room is an underwater dome made completely of glass (this is also connected to the storage room).

Well normally I like to build natural, glass to let light in, normally going straight into a mine, wood or carved out of a mountain/large hill (but not so big that it's a pain to get back up)

But in escapia i'm planning to do a huge kinda strip mine thing.

Mine screams HAXXXXX, I mean it's built out of obsidian and ice and there are torches all over the place and a lava fountain in the middle of the garden ( if you call a sand pit a garden :3), I also have a bottomless pit in my courtyard and diamond ore in the walls

So yeah it just says I'm awesome

My current massive project o' mine says that I have no social life. Right now it is about 30 blocks high and one of the rooms is a 81 diameter circle. I'll post pics when I'm closer to completion. Which should be in a few months...

My house is a 2-story, red brick town house. Fairly small and quaint, but precariously positioned atop a very tall and narrow plateau.

I don't think it says much. I'd like to think it illustrates how much I hate the massive, over-abundant dirt/cobblestone castles. Yes I know they are convenient building materials, but that doesn't make them look nice. Perhaps people should take more time aquiring decent materials for their mega structures. Or perhaps I should stop complaining and get a decent texture pack.

still worse than smoothstone but at least it wont make my eyes bleed if Thunderman14 gets his Twin Towers Of Ugly back

I usually use brick for only chimneys. It just isn't nice enough for me to want to have a lot of it. Smoothstone is my main building material.

Well, here's some pics of my SP house. Built legit, using normal logs, glass, cobblestone, and wood planks/ slabs. I'm quite happy with how the roofing turned out.
