Mountbatten Speaks!

Why hello there.

I am Lord Mountbatten, whom most of you probably know. I'm the fellow conducting dangerous and experimental tests on brave volunteers.

Anyways, I am a moderator on this server, and as such have the power of justice. You would be right to not be a git to me, but also, try not to brown-nose - I don't like fawning.

Oh yes, I realise that not much is particularly known of me. If you want to ask some questions, I shall answer, though not all of them.

Ok Mount, How many super secret radical insider things are you in on? ;)

And, How often do you conduct said tests? And why do you conduct so many tests? :?:

When it comes to Escapecraft, I am normally privy to most of the insider things going on, since I'm an Op+, and am on fairly regularly, unless I have to work, which I admittedly negate as much as possible, the lazy fucker that I am. When it comes to the House of Lords, I've taken to putting a false Lord Mountbatten in my seat, which plays general harrumphing or jeering noises at regular intervals, effectively placating the other members of the House. And I normally cannot disclose insider info unless it's been decided to do so.

The tests aren't that regular to be fair, I'd average things at around one a week, but I've always enjoyed frontline testing, since I am no expert at the internal technicalities of servers and whatnot. I normally conduct them to satisfy my own curiosity, to make sure things are running smoothly, and to help enlighten the whole moderating team on courses of action.

For example, after the test on banning I conducted with you, we now know us moderators do not need to drag a server Administrator in to be able to unban someone. The tests are not useless then.

Edited into Mountbattenese.
I utilized the power of the internet to scour the internet database of your history. You actively served as commander of the 5th Destroyer Flottilla in the year 1939, and you were a Viceroy of India, I find this very impressive, M'Lord!

They're normally fairly spontaneous, so at the moment I don't know. And I always get the first one to volunteer to help.

You mean the splitting of India?

Oh dear, that was an unfortunate situation. I wasn't particularly happy with the chaos in which it was resolved, but by then Britain had officially washed itself of most overt actions taken in the subcontinent.

Milord, in your opinion what is greatest wonder constructed by mankind? Also, what foreign culture would you consider least worthy of contempt?

Greatest wonder eh? Bagger 288. Perfect for slicing through my enemies, if only it was used for something other than neutral strip mining.

In all seriousness, I have great trouble thinking of any one construction. The Tower of Babel though, from the possibly exaggerated paintings of it, looks extraordinary, if it ever truly existed.

Foreign culture least worthy of contempt... I possess a knack for finding so much to be contemptuous of, and I can guarantee that I have snorted indignantly at just about every country at least once, if not more. However, if I had to choose, I'd actually choose Malta. I have a soft spot for the lovely and silly, and from my experiences of Malta, the people there fit that just right.
