Re: Spiral Knights
So I went and made a character. The name is "Stijolew", due to the great idea the developers had to make spaces and underscores invalid for username use. It's a pretty fun game so far, but I have one question. What are those crystals you can break then carry on your back? I believe that dashes are ...

Some forum software has built-in awards systems (or plugins to add that functionality). I would imagine that our admins are way too busy to worry about implementing that sort of thing, though.

In the past, maps above a certain size have caused Cartography to hang. This new map definitely qualifies as above that size.

I'll just leave this here in case someone happens to be looking for a Tribes fix in the meantime.

Basically, this is just Tribes 2 with a new master server, and with all the copy protection stripped away.

The problem with bronies is a similar problem to the one with furries: Many of them just don't realize that they are creeping the rest of is the heck out. When the pony stuff starts showing up in EVERY thread, it really irritates those of us who are trying to have a serious conversation.

A democracy deploys its military against its own people only with the greatest of care. In most Western countries, this deployment requires some kind of act of parliament, or the invocation of the War Measures Act (at least, that's what we call it here in Canada). This is typically reserved for dir...

Hey, if the item trade is anything like it was for Diablo 2's multiplayer, they may as well make it a more secure transaction than going to some shady website in the internet's back alley. As long as someone has to actually find the item initially, I have no problem with this.

As far as I know, there isn't really an easy way to dump all of your correspondence to a file from a web-based service without a whole lot of tedious copying and pasting (or, if there is, most people wouldn't know to look for it, or know how to do it). The amount of time it would take to do that for...

The Master Quest is in all versions of the game, but you need to complete the first quest in order to unlock it. It's an excellent port of a great game. Unfortunately for me, I played the N64 version to death back in the late '90s, so there are really no surprises for me. Well, OK, one surprise: the...

I've played this before, though I obtained it through nefarious means. I do remember liking most of it, though the game was not without its problems. I always hated the scaling difficulty. I haven't had any major issues with GWFL. One of my friends had a problem trying to play multiplayer in Dawn of War 2, however. You do have the option of using the in-game currency (crowns, as opposed to real-world money) to buy extra energy from other players. There's a whole section of the interface dedicated to buying and selling this energy. I do recognize, however, that not being able to spend an entire day with a game ...
