Re: Caspian Border map
Slight aside to this note, it appears the password only works with EA multiplay servers (EU, US and AU) but not the other named servers. Or at least has in my experience. Its hard to get into one of these servers but is so worth it.

Re: Escapecraft Platoon
Woah I did not notice this. I applied for the platoon. Been having a great time with this game, even managed to sneak into the 64 player conquest map. Jets flying overhead among all the tanks and stuff is crazy.

Re: The Fleet battleground (now mod sponsored!)
I think a land based battle could be pretty cool. I'm at work right now but when I get home ill write up a rough proposal of 3 possible ideas for that. Basic ideas are: Naval City being attacked by a fleet intending to capture it. Castle vs Castle battle with no mans land in between. Or like what wa...

Re: Genesis and Exitus
One thing I'm not sure if Sneaky talked about during the fireside with Exitus. For those of you who remember the end of ver2, the server was having a lot of lockups at random times. Something we couldn't explain at the time. After we wiped and went to ver3, those lockups went away and we forgot abo...

Re: Latest Maps
I appreciate the update to the maps that you did wokka. I just have a couple of things I'd like to point out. When it comes to the static maps for future shift and fyra, the fyra one is called shift.ping and future shifts is called fyra.png. It may confuse people when they try to check the maps and ...

Re: The Building Of the Imperial City: Now with moar minecar
We're gonna have to clear everything within the borders eventually. So like you said its best to get the levels 3 and below done first. Several buildings will be able to be completed under level 3 so if we can at least finish that a good amount of progress will be made.

Re: The Building Of the Imperial City: Now with moar minecar
Alright i've been helping out in the southeast corner of the third floor when I have the time since i'm in the middle of exam time. Considering there is a small number of dedicated miners IC has still progressed a MASSIVE amount in the past 2 weeks, and I have to give credit to infesord, saladus, Iz...

Re: The Building Of the Imperial City: Now with moar minecar
I'm starting to think maybe black should have members demonstrate they know how to use TnT effectively and efficiently before it's given out. I know we said do whatever topside, but honestly, it's just going to create problems. Here's how it looks when it's done in an organized manner. It's clean, ...

Well during a downtime it would be possible to remove the chunks that people explored outside of the border. I also noticed random individual chunks all over the place on the png when I was able to open it once this morning.

Re: The Building Of the Imperial City: Now with moar diamond
Okay, I have an idea for what I hope might be a good idea for land clearing in IC, I'd try and describe it but I think these pictures does a good enough job: http://img684.imageshack.us/img684/5442/icprojecttntprep1.png http://img858.imageshack.us/img858/4606/icprojecttntprep2.png This shaft is the...

Re: The Building Of the Imperial City: Now with moar diamond
*post above* This is the safest, funnest and most productive way to mine IC without to many mobs ( so long as you light accordingly ) It also looks appealing and professionally done. I hope the miners of IC take upon this example and continue to mine in accordance to the style. Thank you ~Zinrius I...

While I can't say I know much about running a bukkit server or a server in general, the new file type used to save the maps is just the mcregions mod that was added to the client (http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=120160) So wouldn't it stand to reason that you theoretically could ...

Re: Escapia: Future Shift (OFFLINE)
Ah that explains why I was unable to connect last night to check it out. Anyways wouldn't it make sence to keep using 1.2 for the server at least temporily, since Escapecraft will be continuing to run 1.2 and some people may connect to Future shift, patch to 1.3 and then be unable to go back to esca...
